By donating a whopping Rs 25 crores to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-Cares Fund to fight COVID – 19 , Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has literally stumped many of his Bollywood superstars by his gesture. And notable among them to feel the heat are – superstars – Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan.

Bollywood’s Khiladi as Akshay is fondly called thanks to his Khiladi franchise films has proved that he is not only a hero in reel but in real life as well.

It is not only Bollywood , Akshay has left behind even the cricket legends – ‘God Of Cricket ‘ Sachin Tendulkar who gave Rs 50 Lakh and former India skipper and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. Dada had come forward in support of those affected by the 21-day lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic, pledging to donate rice worth Rs 50 lakh for the underprivileged.

It is not the first time Akshay has backed a national interest cause . He had done that on numerous occasions with his tweets .  He strongly welcomed the air strikes at Balakot by the Indian Air Force as revenge for  the dastardly terror strike at Pulwama in his tweet.

As  Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21 day- lockdown to combat the spreading coronavirus, Akshay in video message appealed to people to stay at home and expressed anger at those violating the guidelines and putting other’s  lives at risk.

This Sooryavanshi clearly knows how to raise the bar both on and off- screen and his rivals are now scurrying for cover . And no wonder  he is aptly called  Bollwood’s Sabse Bada Khiladi .
