Indian selectors have announced the Indian team for the 3 T20 and 3 ODI series against West Indies. Virat Kohli who was rested for the Bangladesh T20 series is back and will lead in both the formats.
Making a return to side is the fit-again seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
But the big news that there is no Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the team again. Thereby the suspense over his international career continues.
Rishabh Pant is the first choice wicket- keeper . A big chance to get some good knock and confidence back. he has been having a poor run recently. Both behind and in front of the wicket.
All-rounder Shivam Dube earned his maiden ODI call-up weeks after making his T20 debut against Bangladesh.
Ace seamer Mohammed Shami was also back in the T20 squad in place of left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed, while Kuldeep Yadav came back in place of Krunal Pandya.
Pacer Bhuvneshwar has been nursing a hamstring and sides train since the team’s tour of the West Indies in August.
