Having followed Deepika Padukone’s Bollywood journey from her dream debut Blockbuster – Om Shanti Om in 2007 opposite Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, one was hence eager to see her back on screen . As her last film was in 2018 , Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Magnus Opus Padmaavat with Ranveer Singh ( husband) and Shahid Kapoor . So the five- year wait ended finally .
And it was this eagerness that made me go and see Pathaan at the multi- plex cinema hall nearby IMAX to get ground report of 2023’s first Blockbuster . Yes, Pathaan is no doubt the comeback of The ‘King Khan ‘ Shah Rukh Khan. But It is also is the comeback of Deepika Padukone too.
For the 37- year-old Bollywood actress the long legged Deepika Padukone , the spectacular success of her latest film Pathaan ( grossing over Rs 1000 crores world-wide) opposite Superstar Shah Rukh Khan could not have come at the right time .
The actress found herself in the line of fire as she was summoned by NCB over some drug related whatsapp chats and her visit to JNU to stand by the students who were attacked drew sharp criticism. The lady amidst the furore though kept her clam and maintained a dignified silence without getting into the war of words. Her focus was on her work – Bollywood and her status as the number one actress. And Deepika returns to the big screen with an image that literally sets the screen ablaze . Pathaan clearly presents her in her most glamourous, hottest and yes sexiest appearance till date.

In the past Deepika he had played glamourous characters in films – Imtiaz Ali’s Cocktail ( 2012) and later in Abbas- Mustan’s 2013 action – thriller Race 2. But with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan she has surpassed those roles by miles.
In- fact before Pathaan hit the screens in 2023 , Deepika Padukone had left fans amazed by her bold portrayal in Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan in 2022. Premiered on Amazon Prime, Deepika stunned all by her intimate chemistry with co- star Siddhant Chaturvedi . The duo made headlines with their scorching chemistry in the song Doobey. It saw the pair indulge in passionate lip- lock and steamy love making scenes . The duo even locking lips in the beach. A bold , daring Deepika was all for the fans to see. And she carried on that hot , bold image onto Pathaan with ease.
In Pathaan , Deepika is introduced in the film in a sun kissed beach in a exotic location in Spain. The chartbuster song Besharam Rang is picturised on her and King Khan . They both set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry. The 20- year age difference SRK ( 57) and Deepika ( 37) was no bar.
She is a sight to behold with her towering screen presence. With aplomb she strides the beach in a sexy two- piece yellow bikini . Flaunting her long legs and sexy lithe body. Her dance moves are sexy and hot.
The song gives Deepika the glamour look and during the song she in another shot seen in a one – piece golden bikini with a plunging neckline. It is bold swimsuit with side bare giving ample scope to see her assets. And the song ends with Deepika wearing a saffron two -piece bikini and diving into the swimming pool.

The song needed Deepika to be hot, sexy and seductive and she pulled off the requirement well . Moreover, She remained unfazed by the furore over her saffron bikini before the film’s release. Post release and the spectacular success of the film ensured critics were silenced for good.
In the film right through Deepika stands tall and in every frame leaves audience in awe with her bold sex appeal and oomph . Her body language is unmissable.
The shot at the night club wearing black wide cleavage baring slit gown which shows her using her legs to get a fingerprint is daring and very sexy.
Even when she wears a jeans she raises the hotness level by wearing a plunging neckline top , and even a crop top to show off her abs. The oomph factor is raised in the catchy song Jhoome Jo Pathaan.
The humungous success of Pathaan proves that DeepikaiPadukone is the number one actress in Bollywood. And she is truly a generation next superstar – A strong confident woman who is bold, hot , and has the guts to play sexy seductive roles even after marriage deftly.
