United Opposition : Wearing Black , Leaders Of Several Parties March Against Rahul Gandhi’s Disqualification, Adani Issue

Wearing black clothes, several opposition MPs  took out a march from parliament to Vijay Chowk to protest against the government over the Adani issue and Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from the Lok Sabha.

The protesters, including Congress MP Sonia Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, gathered near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament complex and raised slogans against the government.

Holding a huge “Satyamev Jayate” banner and placards with “save democracy” written on them, the MPs proceeded towards Vijay Chowk where they staged a sit-in.

Mallikarjun Kharge , Congress president told ANI, “Our message is-Save democracy and Constitution. If you take law into hands, democracy will be ruined and nobody would have freedom of speech. Adani has become a tall figure. Why is Govt silent? He earned money illegally. We want JPC.”

Karge further said, Why are we here in black clothes? We want to show that PM Modi is ending democracy in the country. He first finished autonomous bodies, then they put up their own govt everywhere by threatening those who had won polls. Then they used ED, CBI to use bend those who didn’t bow.

Earlier in united  strategy meeting of Opposition leaders at the chamber of LoP Rajya Sabha and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament building. Leaders of INC, DMK, SP, JD(U), BRS, CPI(M), RJD, NCP, CPI, IUML, MDMK, Kerala Congress, TMC, RSP, AAP, J&K NC & Shiv Sena were  present.
