#UddhavMahaCM : Uddhav Thackeray Sworn In As Chief Minister Of Maharashtra

The month long political uncertainty in Mharashtra has ended . 59 year-old Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray was sworn is as the chief Minister of the NCP – Shiv Sena- Congress alliance at a packed Shivaji park in Mumbai. He became the third Sena leader after Manohar Joshi and Narayan Rane to occupy the top post. On the momentous occasion, Uddhav’s wife Rashmi and son Aaditya , first time MLA were present.

 

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered oath to Thackeray and the six ministers at the ceremony held at Shivaji Park, the venue of Shiv Sena’s Dussehra rallies.

Chhagan Bhujbal, Jayant Patil (both from the NCP), Balasaheb Thorat and Nitin Raut (both from the Congress), Eknath Shinde and Subhash Desai (both from the Sena) took oath as ministers along with Thackeray. The cabinet expansion is expected to be done after the trust vote on December 3.

Those present at the ceremony included NCP chief and the architect of this alliance Sharad Pawar, MNS Chief    Raj Thackeray, Supriya Sule, senior Congress leaders Ahmed Patel , Kapil Sibal, Abhishek Singhvi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, DMK leader MK Stalin. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, wife Nita Ambani, NCP leaders Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel. Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis too was on stage. He showed lot of grace.
