Rajasthan Royals handed a struggling Delhi Capitals another  loss as they beat them by 57 runs in the Tata IPL 2023 encounter at Guwahati

Asked to bat first by DC Skipper David Warner , The Royals were on a right from the start . Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal 60 ( 31 balls , 11 fours , 1 six) and Jos Buttler 79 ( 51 balls, 11 fours 1 six) were aggressive and added 98 for the first wicket in 8.3 overs. Setting the platform. Skipper Sanju Samson ( 0 ) And Rayan Parag at home ground scored ( 7) . But the finishing was done by West Indian Shimron Hetmyer 39 not out . Dhruv Jurel was the other batsman not out on 8. saw Royals finish at an imposing 199/ 4 in their 20 overs

Delhi Bowlers struggled : Khaleel Ahmed 0/31 (2 overs) , Anrich Nortje 0/ 44 (4 overs) , Mukesh Kumar 2/36 (4 overs) , Axar Patel 0/ 38 ( 4 overs) , Kuldeep Yadav 1/ 31 ( 4 overs) , Rovman Powell 1/ 18 ( 2 overs)

Delhi Capitals were rocked by early wickets and they just never recovered . Prithvi Shaw continues to flop  out for 0 . Skipper David Warner played a lone hand of 65 ( 55 balls 7 fours) , Manish Pandey ( 0), Rilee Rossouw ( 14 ), Lalit Yadav ( 38) , Axar Patel ( 2) , Rovman Powell ( 2), Abishek Porel ( 7). Delhi were never in the hunt . and they managed to reach on 142/ 9 in their 20 overs .

For Rajasthan Royals :  Trent Boult lead them with superb 3/ 29 ( 4 overs) , Sandeep Sharma 1/ 20 ( 4 overs) , Ravichandran Ashwin 2/ 25 ( 4 overs) , Jason Holder 0/ 38 ( 3 overs) , Yuzvendra Chahal 3/ 27 ( 4 overs) , 0/ 11 ( 1 over)

Another loss means  massive headache for DC  Skipper David Warner head coach Ricky Ponting and Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly . They need to get back soon else it would be too late.
