KL Rahul led Lucknow Super Giants began their Tata IPL 2023 campaign in emphatic style . In front of a packed home crowd at Lucknow, LSG beat the Delhi Capitals by 50 runs .

This after Delhi Skipper David Warner had won the toss and decided to bowl first. LSG got off to a horror start losing Skipper KL Rahul for 8. But debutant Kyle Mayers had other ideas. he came out with blistering display of power hitting . Mayers was belligerent in 38 ball 73 with 2 fours and 7 sixes .
