#TATAIPL2022 : Match 17 : All-Round Sunrisers Hyderabad Hand Chennai Super Kings Their Fourth Loss With A Thumping 8 Wicket Win

Chennai Super Kings misery in the Tata IPL 2022 continues as the Ravindra Jadeja led side crashed to its fourth defeat with a 8 wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad .

SRH captained by Kane Williamson came out with a commanding all- round show to clinch the match at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai . SRH skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to field first. SRH bowlers kept the CSK in check right form the start. Robin Uthappa ( 15) , Rituraj Gaekwad ( 16), Moeen Ali battled hard for his 48 and the top scorer. Ambati Rayudu 27, Shivam Dube 3 , Ravindra Jadeja 23, Mahendra Singh Dhoni got a roaring reception but failed to fire this time and fell for 3 . CSK struggling to reach 154/7 in their 20 overs. They lost wickets at regular intervals and hence could post a below par total

SRH bowlers had these figures : Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/36 (4 overs), Marco Jansen 1/ 30 ( 4 overs) , Washington Sundar was brilliant 2/ 21( 4 overs), T Natarajan 2/ 30 ( 4 overs) , Umran Malik 0/ 29 ( 3 overs) and clocked the fastest ball at 153 plus

In reply SRH were hardly troubled. They got off to to a confident start. Skipper Kane Williamson and opener Abhishek Sharma put the chase on track with a opening stand of 89 in 12. 1 overs. Williamson was out for 32. But young Abhishek  was impressive and reposed the faith of the team management with a fine 50 ball 75 with five fours and three sixes. Rahul Tripathi played a gem of a unbeaten cameo a 15 ball 39 with five fours and two sixes  and with Nicholas Pooran not out 5, SRH powered home to their first win this season by 8 wickets. Reaching 155/2 in 17.4 overs

CSK had tough day and the figures of their bowlers said it all. Mukesh Choudhary 1/ 30 ( 4 overs), Maheesh Theekshana 0/31 ( 4 overs), Chris Jordan 0/34( 3 overs) , Skipper Ravindra Jadeja 0/ 21 ( 3 overs) , Moeen Ali 0/10 ( 1 over) , Dwayne Bravo 1/29 ( 2.4 overs)

It was the first time since 2010 that CSK had lost four matches in a row. The pressure iis now on Ravindra Jadeja to turn things around quickly. Another loss or two their campaign could well be over.
