#Rajasthan Crisis Update : Congress Takes Action, Sachin Pilot Removed As Deputy Chief Minister And PCC Chief

After he gave the second CLP meeting a miss, Congress party has decided to act against Sachin Pilot. According to the latest report by a news agency, The party has now removed Sachin Pilot as deputy chief minister of Rajasthan and sacked three other state cabinet ministers. Pilot has also been sacked as the PCC chief. Govind Singh Dotasra has replaced Pilot said party chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala.

During a press briefing, party spokesperson Randeep Sujrewala said that the Congress regrets that Pilot, and some of his supporting MLAs, fell trap to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s designs to destabilise the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile , it learnt from media reports that the MLAs who were attending the ongoing Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting at Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur, reportedly 102 according to ANI report have unanimously demanded that Sachin Pilot should be removed from the party.

Reacting to the Rajasthan political developments, former Madhya Pradesh chief Minister and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti squarely blamed former Congress president Rahul Gandhi for the mess. “The whole crisis (in Rajasthan) is due to Rahul Gandhi and his family because they insult young leaders and are jealous of them… Gandhis only want those do “he he he” with them to stay in government. ”
