Rajasthan Crisis Over : Sachin Pilot Set To Return, AICC Forms Three-Member Committee To Address Issues

The political crisis in Rajasthan seems to be over. In dramatic day developments , former Rajasthan PCC Chief and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot met former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra giving hopes of a truce and ending the uncertainty of the Ashok Gehlot government for over a month.

Following which AICC Secretary KC Venugopal said that Sachin Pilot has committed to working in the interest of the Congress party and the Congress government in Rajasthan.

“Sachin Pilot has met with former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and expressed his grievances in detail. They have had a frank, open and conclusive discussion. Sachin Pilot has committed to working in the interest of the Congress party and the Congress government in Rajasthan,” said the statement.

Following this meeting, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has decided that the AICC will constitute a three member committee to address the issues raised by Sachin Pilot and the aggrieved MLA and arrive at an appropriate resolution thereof.”

Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi in a tweet in-fact has gone ahead and welcomed Sachin Pilot back in the party

Senior Congress leader, Shashi Tharoor too expressed happiness over reports of  Sachin Pilot’s return to the party
