Congress president Rahul Gandhi has sharpened his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Government admitted in Supreme Court that files of Rafale deal were stolen from the Defence Ministry.
At a press conference Gandhi slammed the government contention of missing files saying : “The Rafale files disappeared like jobs for 2 crore youths, right price for farmers’ produce and promise to give Rs 15 lakh. Yes, of course take action on those involved in this missing documents case but also initiate an inquiry on PMO making parallel negotiations. On one hand you are saying the documents are missing, so this means the documents are genuine and its clearly written in them that PMO was carrying out parallel negotiations”.
He lashed out at PM Modi and Anil Ambani too saying : ” PM Modi performed bypass surgery in the Rafale deal, purchase delayed to benefit Anil Ambani. Media warned of probe in Rafale deal but no probe against those involved in scam, govt manipulating institutions to save PM Modi. Rafale files disappeared, it was said that an investigation should be conducted against you (media) because Rafale files disappeared; but the person who was involved in Rs 30,000 crore scam, no investigation against him?
On the charges by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Congress was making Pakistan happy with their statements, Gandhi in a hard – hitting reply said : ” Modi got ISI to probe Pathankot attack, invited then Pak PM Nawaz Sharif for his swearing-in. He not us is poster boy of Pakistan
