In the battle for Punjab the AAP has named its chief ministerial face . It will be Bhagwant Mann . He apparently received more than 93 per cent of the votes cast through phone and WhatsApp, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said . More than 21 lakh people participated in the vote, AAP said.
Mann is presently Aam Aadmi Party Lok Sabha MP from Sangrur constituency.
The auditorium erupted in cheers and slogan shouting as a montage on Bhagwant Mann played out on a giant screen.

AAP has given me a very big responsibility. Our first step is to form govt in Punjab. “Ki hoya je patjhad aayi, tu agli rutt vich yakeen rakhi… Main labh ke leyauna haan kiton kalmaan, tu phullan jogi jameen rakhi” Mann was quoted as saying by ANI
The announcement by AAP will put pressure on Congress, BJP, SAD to follow suit surely .
