Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Janata Curfew Call Gets A Thunderous And Unprecedented Support

Human spirit was at display in every nook and corner of India, from Delhi to Darbhanga, Mumbai to Mehsana or from Bangalore to Balasore in coastal Odisha, people of all castes, creed, faith and echelons preferred to stay indoors in solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to observe Janata curfew.

Human civilization was never in more danger of a disease as it’s today. Fear of uncertainty is sensed around developed India and away from facilities Bharat. One thing conquered all lips:Corona virus.

To term the spontaneous support to the PMs call unprecedented would be an understatement.

Not only busy markets, traffic heavy roads, bustling streets or lively bylanes wore a deserted look, even inside homes wives maintained distance from husband’s, grandparents played with grand children from a distance. The spectacle was unbelievable.

Even before the clocks indicated it was 5pm, young and old, men and women, kids and senior citizens were ready with whatever they they managed to gather:bells, conch, utensils and rushed to their terrace, doors, windows to showcase their appreciation to the men and women working tirelessly against the menacingly dreaded virus.

Doctors, paramedics, policemen, essential goods providers, those busy in cleaning activities, all deserve a lot more.
