In his first reaction after imposition of President’s Rule in the state , former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that it is ‘very unfortunate’ that President’s rule is imposed in Maharashtra despite clear mandate.
“It is very unfortunate that no government has been formed in Maharashtra and President’s rule is imposed in the state despite the people giving very clear mandate:,” Fadnavis said in a statement.
Fadnavis hoped that a stable government in the state will be formed soon.
“There are several challenges before the state the biggest being the destruction on account of unseasonal rains. I expect all the parties to take this situation seriously and I hope a stable government will be formed soon,” he said.
