Unwell for some time and in Singapore for last eight ,months , Rajya Sabha MP and former SP leader Amar Sing passed away after prolonged illness. He was 64 .
Though he was in the samajwadi party , Singh had friends across the political fraternity and at one time one of the most sought after politicians in Lutyens Delhi.
As the news of Amar Singh’s death broke, leaders across party lines paid their tributes by taking to twitter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the way.
