‘King Khan’ Shah Rukh Khan Fondly Recalls Deewana Co-Star Rishi Kapoor In A Emotional Tweet

Seasoned actor Rishi Kapoor who passed away at the age of 67 after battling cancer for two years has left Bollywood in a state of shock. His co- stars too recalled their time working with them.

Among the unending admirers and co- stars who paid their rich tributes was the King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan . It was in the 1992 Raj Kanwar directed film Deewana co-starring Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor that Shah Rukh made his made his mark in Bollywood . It was his first hit towards becoming Baadshah of Bollywood in the years ahead.

As Rishi Kapoor passed away Shah Rukh fondly recalled his experience with Rishi Kapoor in a moving tweet, as he  wrote these in his moving lines  and pointing out the inspiration that  Rishi Kapoor was to him in his career , “On the first day of shoot, he sat for my scene to finish after pack up. Then with that famously radiant smile on his face, he said, “yaar tujhme energy bahut hai! That day in my head I became an actor,” Shah Rukh Khan revealed in his post, “I will miss him for many things but more than all of them, I will miss him for the gentle pat on my head every time we met. I will keep it in my heart always as the ‘aashirwaad’ that made me who I am today.”
