Jaipur Literature Festival Unveils New NFT Collection

The 15th edition of Jaipur Literature Fest has been concluded in a hybrid avatar with the on-ground edition taking place in all its glory at its customary home in Jaipur at Hotel Clarks Amer. Teamwork Arts, the producer of the ‘greatest literary show on Earth’, has launched a new NFT collection at the concluding day of the Festival.

As tribute to the Festival’s 15 years, the collection includes fifteen stunning moments and celebrates this landmark 15th edition. These include moments with Amitabh Bachchan, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Aamir Khan, Hon’ble Former President of India, the Late A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Late actor Rishi Kapoor, popular actor Shatrughan Sinha and many other notable names.

This is to be hosted on a popular NFT marketplace – abris.io and will be available only as a ‘limited edition’. The iconic Festival has been a melting pot of writers, performers, artists and discussions and debates – some regular attendees have perhaps missed their annual literary pilgrimage to Jaipur. At the Festival opening, Hon’ble Tourism Minister of Rajasthan, Vishvendra Singh said, “I am delighted that the Jaipur Literature Festival is returning on-ground in the Pink City.”

The Festival has launched a curated NFT drop on abris.io.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjoy K. Roy, Managing Director, Teamwork Arts, said, “The Jaipur Literature Festival has an extensive and loyal international audience who has been regularly attending the talks at the Festival. International audiences are very happy to hear about the Festival doing an NFT drop.”

Priya Samant, CEO and Co-founder of Abris, said, “It is an honour to collaborate with Jaipur Literature Festival which brings thought leaders and literary legends together through books, conversations and performances to showcase India’s rich culture to the world.”
The Festival NFTs will be available online to all for buying through credit card and cryptocurrency, and will commemorate 15 milestone years of this incomparable Festival.

The curated digital collection will go live on 11th April with a set of captivating visuals which would showcase Jaipur Literature Festival’s star-studded journey through the years. The NFT drop symbolises its openness to technology adoption.

Victoria, who has so far attended six editions of the Festival, said, “Am keen to see the journey and the evolution of the literature, especially popular authors who will be associated with the NFT format.” The Festival has a long-standing tradition of open conversations and exchange of inspirational ideas. NFTs are the new medium of exchanging perspectives in digital and physical forms. The collection will be available for browsing and purchase on the Jaipur Literature Festival storefront on abris.io
