Senior Congress leader in Rajya Sabha , Ghulam Nabi Azad, paid his rich tributes to late senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley when the parliament began for the winter session . 66 year-old Jaitley passed away on August 24 this year.
In a moving tribute ,Azad recalled his personal rapport with the late BJP leader and said : “I had known Arun Jaitley personally. The rare political sourness between us used to turn into sweetness due to our personal relations. From his student life till his death, his life remained very active. He was a good student, good orator and a good leader. People like Jaitley are not a loss to a party alone but the entire country. I pray that his soul rests in peace.”
