Ending speculations about his joining the Congress, poll strategist Prashant Kishor has now apparently declined the offer to join the grand old party as part of the Empowered Action Group
It is believed that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was ‘very keen’ to involve Kishor in working out a strategy for the party even about a couple of months ago but the matter was delayed several times.
The poll strategist tweeted to say, “Ive declined Congress leaderships offer to join the party and take responsibility for elections at EAG.
In my humble opinion, more than my joining, Congress needs leadership and collective will to fix some of the deep rooted structural problems through transformational reforms.”
