Counter- Attack : Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Reacts Strongly In Tweets On Defaulter’s List Charge By Congress

File Picture

After former Congress president Rahul Gandhi had attacked the Modi government after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released a list of 50 wilful defaulters accused of cheating banks which included 50 defaulters like absconding tycoons diamantaire Mehul Choksi and fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman has hit back hard on the charges in her series of tweets . As many as 13 of them .

In a hard hitting tweet she wrote, Rahul Gandhi, MP (LS), and Randeep Singh Surjewala, spokesperson of Congress, have attempted to mislead people in a brazen manner

In another tweet she said , @INCIndia and Shri.@RahulGandhi should introspect why they fail to play a constructive role in cleaning up the system. Neither while in power, nor while in the opposition has the @INCIndia shown any commitment or inclination to stop corruption & cronyism.

Even at the time of COVID-19, there is no stopping of scoring political points. And BJP and Congress spare not time at hitting out at each other.  BJP of course has  a only one answer to all the country’s ills whenever it takes place  – blame Congress led UPA . Despite been in power at the Centre since 2014.
