#ClassXII Exams : CBSE To Declare Results By July 31, Evaluation Criteria Submitted In Supreme Court

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have told the Supreme Court that the assessment criteria for Class 12 students will be factored on Class 10 and Class 11 results.

The CBSE submitted before the Supreme Court its evaluation criteria for awarding grades/marks for Class XII exams and is as follows:

The performance in Class 10 (30%weightage), Class 11 (30% weightage) & Class 12 (40%), will be taken for the Class 12 final exam results.

For class X and XI, marks in best of 3 from 5 papers in term exams will be considered.

AG KK Venugopal as quoted by ANI said, said that students who are not satisfied with the marks/grading through the present mechanism can do better or improve their marks by appearing in physical examinations, as COVID situation gets better or as the situation normalises or as the institutions think.

For Class XII, marks obtained in unit tests, term exams and practical exams will be taken into account.

The results will be declared by July 31, 2021.
