Reactions to the Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have come from Opposition leaders . Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi in his view slammed the Centre over the Union Budget and said that it does not have anything for the salaried class, middle class, poor, youth, farmers and MSMEs.

“M0di G0vernment’s Zer0 Sum Budget! Nothing for–Salaried class–Middle class–The poor and deprived–Youth–Farmers–MSMEs,” tweeted Rahul Gandhi.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday tabled Union Budget 2022 in the Lok Sabha and later in Rajya Sabha.

While presenting the Budget in the Lower House, the Finance Minister said that India’s economic growth in the current year is estimated to be 9.2 per cent, the highest among all large economies. She also said that Union Budget 2022-23 seeks to lay the foundation and give a blueprint of the economy over the next 25 years.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said Budget has zero for common people who are getting crushed by unemployment and inflation. Government is lost in big words signifying nothing. A Pegasus spin Budget.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal dubbed the Union Budget 2022-23 as “disappointing” and said it has nothing for the common people.

In a tweet in Hindi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor noted that people had “high expectations” from the Union Budget during the corona period but there is nothing in it either for the common people or to reduce price rice.

“People had high expectations from the Budget during the corona period. The Budget has disappointed the people. There is nothing in the Budget for the general public. Nothing to reduce price rise,” Kejriwal said.
