#Battle For Maharashtra 2019 : BJP Proposes Bharat Ratna For Veer Savarkar, Mahatma Phule In Party’s Manifesto

Bharatiya Janata Party Working President JP Nadda and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis released the party’s manifesto or the Sankalp Patra for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections.

The party also proposed the names of Mahatma Phule, Savitribai Phule and Veer Savarkar for the Bharat Ratna among promises of one crore jobs and better healthcare facilities. Home to all homeless by 2022, Rs 5 lakh crore investment in infrastructure, social security net for workers, health and quality education are among the promises made by the party for the upcoming elections

Elections for the 288 member assembly will be held on 21st of this month while counting will be taken up on the 24th.

The Shiv Sena, which is contesting 124 seats in the Maharashtra assembly election as part of its alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party, on Saturday released its manifesto, which promises to provide full meal at Rs 10 and make farmers debt-free, among other things.

ON the raging PMC bank scam, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while addressing the media said , After elections, we will take this issue to the Centre. We will request the Centre to help depositors get their money back. I will personally be following up on this.
