Arvind Kejriwal Admits Rise In Cases Worrying, But Insists Lockdown Not A Solution Too

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the media has said lockdown was not a solution and assured that his government had made adequate healthcare arrangements to deal with a rise in number of coronavirus patients.

Delhi has recently witnessed sudden rise in cases and Kejriwal tried to assure all is well saying :”Most of the people are recovering, and they are recovering at home. There is no need to panic.”

Kejriwal further added : ” Delhi is witnessing a surge in #Covid19 cases, we accept it. But there is nothing to worry about, I assure you that we are fully prepared. We cannot be in a permanent lockdown

Out of the total patients, only 2100 are in hospitals rest are undergoing treatment at their homes. 6500 beds are ready till date and 9500 beds will be ready by another week , Kejriwal pointed out .
