Arjun Rampal Asked To Join NCB Probe, Maharashtra Minister Vows Will Not Allow To Malign Bollywood

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has been asked to join the investigations into drugs allegations linked to the film industry, on the 11th November. The NCB had conducted raids at the residence and office premises of the actor. His electronic gadgets have been seized, the Narcotics Control Bureau, said.

Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife was arrested by the anti-drugs agency over 10 grams of marijuana allegedly found at their Mumbai home in raids.

NCB officer Sameer Wankhede told news agency PTI that Firoz Nadiadwala was summoned by the anti-drugs agency on Sunday, but he did not appear.

Maharashtra minister Anil Parab says the government will not allow anyone to malign Bollywood. “If drugs have been found in someone’s possession or someone is consuming it and it’s against the law, then action should be taken. But if someone is maligning Bollywood and working towards shifting it elsewhere from Mumbai then it’s wrong. We won’t let it happen.
