Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee have parted ways after eight years of marriage, according to a report in ANI. The duo tied the knot in 2012.
35-year-old Shikhar now in UAE for the Delhi Capitals for IPL 2021 has not reacted to the news so far. He recently led India in a limited-overs series in Sri Lanka.
His wife Ayesha 46 though announced the divorce in a long Instagram post. She broke the news on her new Instagram page named ‘Aesha Mukerji’ on Tuesday as her original profile with the name ‘Ayesha Dhawan’ was deleted from the social media site.
Ayesha , a Melbourne based boxer, has two daughters from her previous marriage. The duo have a son named Zoravar.
