Prakash Jha’s Aashram 3 starring Bobby Deol has new entrant and introduced as the Ek Nayi Khiladi and it is none other than the sexy Esha Gupta. The actress in an interview opened up on her seductive role and working with Bobby Deol.
When asked during an exclusive interview with Bollywood Life whether she was comfortable filming sexy sequences with Bobby, Esha said, “There’s nothing about being comfortable or uncomfortable when you have worked for like 10 years in the industry. People think intimacy is a problem but it’s not, unless and until it’s a problem in your real life. We are very open about it. The only thing is every scene is difficult, whether you’re crying or driving on-screen. Maybe intimacy was difficult for me to shoot when I did it for the first time. But when you’re shooting with good mature people and a nice actor around you, you don’t have any problem.”
In the series, Esha is playing the part of Sonia, who will be enticing Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) for her own secret objectives. Her persona in the series is strong, seductive and grey.
The web series has pivotal roles by Darshan Kumaar , Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal.
On working with Bobby Deol, Esha in a interview to Indian Express had reportedly said, I have grown up watching Gupt, Badal and that song in Kareeb. I think I wasn’t old enough to understand that it’s a crush, and I was also quite tomboyish but Bobby and Hrithik Roshan remind you of the days when you believed in love. I also remember dancing to ‘Duniya haseeon ka mela’ at so many parties. When I met him the first time, he barely talked. But after we finished our scene, I told him about me dancing to his songs, and even did the step in front of him. He was laughing so much but I told him how it was a childhood dream to be working with him. Bobby is just so nice and humble and I am glad that he is finally getting recognition. He is so good-looking and talented but it took years for people to realise that.
For the record Esha had made her foray into Bollywood in 2012 commercially successful crime thriller Jannat 2, that fetched her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Gupta received praise for her portrayal in the political drama Chakravyuh (2012) but her performance in the comedy film Humshakals (2014) did not impresses the viewers .
Her highest-grossing releases came with the horror thriller Raaz 3D (2013), the crime drama Rustom (2016) and Baadshaho (2017).
The 36 year-old has often set the benchmark for boldness with her sexy hot pictures she often shares on the social media picture handle Instagram.
