High on energy and versatile Ranveer Singh has established himself in Bollywood as a bankable star. The actor who turned 35 is known to be director’s actor and has given some wonderful performances on the big screen. Switching from one intense role to another one with ease.
He made his bollywood debut in 2010 with a leading role in Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat with Anushka Sharma. Since there was no looking back, Projects with big directors followed and so did Box-office success making him a young star to reckon with.
It was director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who brought out the best in Ranveer by directing him in three Blockbusters – Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani ( 2015) and Padmaavat (2018). Incidentally all the three had Deepika Padukone as the lead actress . With three blockbuster’s the duo became the hottest on-screen pair. And in fairy tale of sorts they got married in 2018.
Ranveer also impressed in other films too like – Lootera ( 2013) with Sonakshi Sinha, Gunday ( 2014) with Priyanka Chopra, Dil Dhadakne Do ( 2015) , Simmba ( 2018), Gully Boy ( 2019)
On the work front in the future too , Ranveer, has interesting films coming up. He will be soon seen in Kabir Khan’s 83, a tribute to India’s 1983 World Cup winning cricket team , where Ranveer plays the skipper and iconic- all-rounder Kapil Dev . Wife Deepika plays Romi Dev. He has special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Cop film Sooryavanshi which has superstar Akshay Kumar in the lead and Ajay Devgn ( cameo appearance)
