Staging A Comeback , ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson Returns To WWE Arena

 

In a great news for his ardent fans , Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is taking a trip back to WWE.

Johnson was a professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) for eight years prior to pursuing an acting career.

His films have grossed over $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion worldwide, making Johnson one of the highest-grossing box-office stars of all time.

The 47-year-old actor has announced that he will be returning to the entertainment sport for the debut of “WWE Smackdown” on Fox TV on Friday.

Johnson shared the news on Twitter.

“Finally… I come back home to my @WWE universe. This Friday night, I’ll return for our debut of ‘SMACKDOWN! LIVE’ on @FOXTV.

“There’s no greater title than #thepeopleschamp. And there’s no place like home. Tequila on me after the show,” he wrote in the post alongside his throwback photo from his WWE days.

Johnson, who became a worldwide star in the sports industry in the 2000s, last appeared on “Smackdown” in 2013.

Johnson made the Time 100 Most Influential People in the World list in both 2016 and 2019.

Johnson also  featured in the movie Baywatch along with Bollywood actress and now global icon Priyanka Chopra in ( 2017 ) .
