The detention of National Conference patron and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah under the Public Safety Act (PSA) has allowed the opposition to target the Centre.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi in a tweet wrote , nationalist leaders like the National Conference chief were being removed to create a political vacuum in Jammu and Kashmir and use the Valley to polarise the rest of India.
It’s obvious that the Government is trying to remove nationalist leaders like Farooq Abdullah Ji to create a political vacuum in Jammu & Kashmir that will be filled by terrorists.
Kashmir can then permanently be used as a political instrument to polarise the rest of India.

Gandhi also demanded that the government immediately release all nationalist leaders and “stop creating a space for terrorists” in Jammu and Kashmir.
