India Elections 2019 : Sadhvi Pragya , Accused In Malegaon Blast Case Joins BJP, Vows To Win Elections

One of the most noticeable faces of the Malegaon Blast case and an accused Sadhvi Pragya has started a new innings I. e politics. And she has joined the BJP.

There is buzz that she might contest from Bhopal and take on senor Congress leader and former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh. If this contest happens then it will be high voltage vitriolic battle for sure.

According to media reports , Pragya met senior leaders of the BJP in Bhopal namely – former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Ramlal, Anil Jain, Narottam Mishra, and Prabhat Jha at the state party headquarters.

Speaking to mediapersons after joining the saffron party, Thakur said she will “contest and win” elections.

After meeting the leaders, Pragya Singh Thakur said, “We will unitedly fight against the people who are conspiring against the nation. We will win this Dharm Yuddh.”

“After spending 10 years in jail due to Congress conspiracy, I have come here to fight the political and religious war,” she added.

Thakur is among the seven accused facing trial in the Malegaon blast case, wherein six people were killed and a dozen others were injured when a bomb placed on a motorcycle exploded in Maharashtra’s Malegaon on September 29, 2008.
