India Name 15-Member Side For 2019 ICC World Cup, Experienced Dinesh Karthik Picked , Rishabh Pant Snubbed

India have announced a 15 man squad for the  2019 ICC Cricket World Cup In England that begins On May 30. Chairman of the Selectors M SK Prasad along with others chose the team . The side will be skippered by Virat Kohli with Rohit Sharma his deputy.

In a surprise move, the selectors overlooked young Rishabh Pant as the second choice wicket- keeper to Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dinesh Karthik was  picked instead as selectors banked on experience. Ambati Rayudu too has been left out . Vijay Shankar takes his place .

#TeamIndia : 1. Virat Kohli (captain) Rohit Sharma ( vice- captain), Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Shankar, Ravindra Jadeja.

India will play their first match on June 5 against South Africa at Hampshire Bowl in Southampton.
