India Outclass West Indies To Win Second Test And Series 2-0 In Another Three Day Finish

India once again outclassed West Indies in all departments to win the second Test  at Hyderabad by 10 wickets. And thus take the two match Test series 2-0 . It was their 10th series win in a row at home. Their last defeat at home, came way back in 2012, against England, when they were beaten 1-2.

Paceman Umesh Yadav grabbed his chances with both hands and picked up an impressive 10 wicket haul. He had  fine  figures of 6 for 88 and 4 for 45 .

India reached the target of 72 in 16. 1 overs . Openers Prithvi Shaw (33) and KL Rahul (33) saw India through. West Indies crumbled to a paltry 127 all out in the second innings . From 45 for three, there was not much resistance as Hope was snapped when he played a Ravindra Jadeja delivery for the turn to give Rahane his second catch at slip.

West Indies’ biggest hope Roston Chase (6) and Shane Dowrich (0) were both bowled off inside edges with Umesh getting the ball to swing in sharply.

Jason Holder (19) and Sunil Ambris (38) added 38 runs for the seventh wicket but once again the Windies failed to carry on as their captain was caught behind off Jadeja.

West Indies one thought would make India fight after restricting them to 367 after having put up a total of 311. Ajinkya Rahane ( 80 ) Rishabh Pant ( 92 ) skipper Virat Kohli ( 45 ) and Ravichandran Ashwin ( 35) were the scorers for the India .
