For Pakistan the star performers with the ball were Usman Khan 3 for 19 and two-wicket hauls by Shadab Khan (2/31) and Hasan Ali (2/19).

Chasing modest target, Pakistan cruised to a comfortable 8 wicket win. Imam-ul- Haq scoring a fifty in the process and he remained unbeaten. Pakistan scored 120 for 2 in 23. 4 overs. Shoaib Malik (9) hit the winning runs, blasting Aizaz for a boundary in the 24th over.

Unlike the Sri Lanka- Bangladesh encounter the stadium did not have much crowd to support the sides.
