Ranveer Singh has clearly in recent years going by his powerful Box- office records of his films has established himself as one of the biggest stars of the generation next. The actor who is high on energy and enthusiasm has raised the bar everytime when has appeared on screen. Getting into the skin of the character and thus wowing the audience and critics. He is one of the most bankable stars today.
With several big films line-up ahead under post smashing success of Padmaavat, Ranveer turned 33 today .
He made debut in 2010 in in Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat.
But series of critically acclaimed films and super Box- office returns of his later films made him a hot star in Bollywood – Beginning with romantic drama Lootera (2013) opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Action-drama Gunday (2014) along with Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra and the comedy-drama Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) with Priyanka Chopra.
But it is his combination with midas touch director Sanjay Leela Bhansali that Ranveer hit the bull’s eye. The duo teamed up to give some of Bollywood’s biggest hits in recent times – Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela opposite Deepika Padukone (2013) and two Blockbuster period drama’s Bajirao Mastani (2015) with Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra and his latest Padmaavat (2018) with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
Ranveer has formed a super- hit pair with tall leggy actress Deepika Padukone. The duo have a scintillating hot chemistry on screen and the hot sexy passionate poster of their film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela is ample proof of the rapport they have on and off screen.
If they are hot on screen there are off- it as well too, Ranveer and Deepika who have been rumoured to be dating since 2013 are now seriously considering taking their relationship to the next level by getting married. There has been endless speculations over the date and even rumours of a destination wedding on the cards.
Deepika has slowed down on her film signings and Ranveer is racing against time to complete his pending projects . He will star opposite Alia Bhatt in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, a musical based on the life of rappers living in Mumbai’s ghettos. Then he plays a cop in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba co-starring Sara Ali Khan daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his former wife Amrita Singh.
Ranveer wraps up his projects with Kabir Khan’s tribute to the 1983 World Cup , Indian cricket team . Singh will play the iconic all- rounder and Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev in the film , entitled 83.
