Battle For Telangana 2018 : Over 67 Percent Turn- Out In The Polls

In the first assembly election of the sate after formation in 2014, Telangana went to the polls for the 119 member assembly . TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao had decided to go for early polls. It face a tough challenge from the Congress- TDP- TJS- CPI and the BJP.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has exuded confidence that his party would be successful in Telangana Assembly polls.
The AIMIM has fielded candidates in eight assembly segments in Hyderabad out of the total 119 seats in the state. It is supporting TRS in other segments. Owaisi cast his vote in Rajendranagar Assembly segment in Hyderabad

Polling in Telangana concluded with over 67 per cent recorded turnout . In the last assembly elections, the voter turnout was 69.5 per cent
