India took a 2-1 lead win the ODI series against West Indies when it beat them by a whopping 224 runs in the fourth ODI at Mumbai’s Brabourne stadium.
The West Indians were bundled out for 153 in 36. 2 overs by sharp Indian bowling attack and fielding . Khaleel Ahmed, and Kuldeep Yadav picked three wickets each to complete the rout . For the West Indies, the target was never going to be easy and it proved in the end as the West Indians gave up the mammoth chase.
Skipper Jason Holder played a lone hand scoring a valiant unbeaten 54 . But the rest failed to provide support. Thereby handing India a convincing win
Earlier India posted a huge target of 377 for 5. This was possible due the majestic tons by Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu. Rohit was simply brilliant in his t 162 from 137 balls, while Rayudu who seems to have sealed the number 4 slot in the side blasted blazing 100 from 81 balls.
The duo put on an entertaining stand of 212 runs for the third wicket to take the match away from the West Indies.
