Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he hoped to engage with India again after the Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
“One thing Pakistan needs more than any other country right now is peace and security, particularly with India and Afghanistan for regional peace and stability,” Khan said at an investment conference in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh.

“Peace with India would help the two countries to divert their resources towards human development instead of indulging in an arms race.”
Despite the talk of peace Imran khan did not shy away from once again raising the Kashmir issue. His tweet indicated his double speak.

The tweet however did not go down well with India. The Ministry of External Affairs slammed the tweet. “Instead of making comments on India’s internal affairs, Pakistan leadership should look inwards and address its own issues,” ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said.

Randeep Surjewala, Congress Communications-in charge too slammed Imran for his Kashmir remark
